Planetary Animations in Blender

Following on from my work for ‘Light Coming Out of the Darkness’, I researched the works of Maxim Zhestkov and his large scale digital particle simulations. At the time, I was also researching different types of celestial bodies and the history behind the theory of heliocentricitty. From this, I was inspired to create a piece that responded to the particle work of Maxim Zhestkov as well as incorporating my research of space and historical interpretations of the galaxy.

Through these tests, I experimented with different lighting types and camera angles to see how it would affect the outcome.
